No player in the NFL graded out higher at Pro Football Focus during Week 1 of the 2020 season than Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
His 364-yard, four-touchdown performance against the Minnesota Vikings earned Rodgers an overall grade of 96.0, the best of the 15 qualified players with a grade of at least 90.0 in the first week.
The Packers quarterback helped his offense gain 522 total yards and score 43 points, leading Matt LaFleur’s team to an impressive win over Mike Zimmer and the Vikings.
Rodgers had an adjusted completion percentage of 82.9 and an NFL-high five completions on passes thrown over 20 yards. He completed 26 of 31 passes thrown within 2.5 seconds of the snap, and he was under pressure on just seven of 45 dropbacks.

According to Steve Palazzolo of PFF, Rodgers had a league-best six “big-time throws” against the Vikings.
According to Mike Renner of PFF, Rodgers’ 94.6 passing grade was the second-highest of his entire career.
Rodgers was one of three quarterbacks to finish with a Week 1 grade over 90.0, joining Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson.
The Packers’ second highest-graded player was left tackle David Bakhtiari, who didn’t allow a single pressure over 45 pass-blocking snaps. The team’s highest-graded defensive player was undrafted rookie linebacker Krys Barnes.
