Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers became the seventh quarterback in NFL history to 400 career touchdown passes when he hit Davante Adams for a 9-yard touchdown on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Rodgers became the fastest quarterback in league history to the milestone, needing only 193 games to reach 400 touchdown passes. The previous record holder was Drew Brees, who did it in 205 games.
Rodgers is also the only quarterback to have fewer than 100 interceptions when reaching 400 touchdown passes.
Rodgers joins Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Dan Marino and Philip Rivers in the 400-touchdown pass club.
Adams caught Rodgers’ 200th career touchdown pass in 2014 and his 400th in 2020. Rodgers threw his 300th career touchdown pass during the 2017 season.
Rodgers also became the first quarterback in NFL history with 35 or more touchdown passes in five seasons.
The next milestone is 500 touchdown passes. Only four quarterbacks – Brady, Brees, Manning and Favre – have reached 500.
