Pro Football Focus ranked only five players ahead of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers on the site’s list of the top 101 players from the past decade (2010-19).
Rodgers, a two-time league MVP and the NFL’s record holder for career passer rating and touchdown-to-interception ratio, ranked sixth on PFF’s list of the best players from the 2010s, trailing only quarterback Tom Brady, defensive lineman Aaron Donald, quarterback Drew Brees, cornerback Richard Sherman and tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Rodgers all but booked a future trip to Canton with a decade of transcendent quarterback play.
During the decade, Rodgers ranked seventh in the NFL in passing yards (38,145) and completions (3,187) and third in touchdown passes (305). He threw only 63 interceptions and had a passer rating of 103.6. A future Hall of Famer, Rodgers started 142 games during the decade, leading the Packers to 96 wins – trailing only Brady’s 122 victories.
Rodgers’ elite play helped the Packers become the gold standard in the NFC during the decade.
Between 2010 and 2019, the Packers won the NFC North title six times and made the playoffs eight times. Four times, the Packers made the NFC title game four times. In 2010, Rodgers helped the Packers win their first Super Bowl since 1996.
The NFL named Rodgers, the MVP in 2011 and 2014, to the league’s All-Decade Team for the 2010s. He joined Brady as the two quarterbacks on the team.
