Packers QB Aaron Rodgers named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 15

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 15 of the 2021 NFL season.

Rodgers completed 23 of 31 passes for 268 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions during the Packers’ 31-30 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. He was one of only two players to throw three touchdown passes without an interception in Week 15, and his 132.2 passer rating was the second-highest among all quarterbacks during the week.

Rodgers has now won the NFC Offensive Player of the Week award 19 times in his career, good for the fourth-most all-time. This is the first time he’s won the award since Week 13 of 2020. Rodgers has won the award at least one time in 11 of the last 12 years dating back to 2010.

New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan was the NFC Defensive Player of the Week, while Detroit Lions kicker Riley Patterson was the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.

This is the third time a member of the Packers has taken home one of the weekly awards this season. Kicker Mason Crosby was the Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 3, and cornerback Rasul Douglas was the Defensive Player of the Week in Week 12.
