Packers preseason opponents set, will open at home vs. Texans

The four opponents to play the Green Bay Packers this preseason have been set.

The team official site announced the Packers will play an all AFC exhibition schedule, with an opening game against the Houston Texans and a finale against the Kansas City Chiefs at Lambeau Field sandwiched around road trips to play the Baltimore Ravens and Oakland Raiders.

Specific dates and times were not announced. Also, the location of the Packers’ trip to play the Raiders is still to be determined, with the two teams potentially playing the game in Canada.

Date ranges for the games were provided:

– vs. Texans, Aug. 8-12
– at Ravens, Aug. 15-19
– vs. Raiders, Aug. 22-25
– vs. Chiefs, Aug 29

All four games will be available to local fans on the Packers TV Network.

The Packers are also expected to hold a joint training camp practice with J.J. Watt and the Texans before the preseason opener in early August.
