Packers meet virtually with Oklahoma State OT Teven Jenkins

The Green Bay Packers will get a closer look at one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the 2021 NFL draft.

According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, the Packers have met or will meet with Oklahoma State offensive tackle Teven Jenkins, a potential first-round pick.

It’s possible Jenkins could be in play for the Packers at No. 29 overall. Offensive tackle looks like a top need, and Jenkins figures to be one of the top players at the position. The Packers might be without left tackle David Bakhtiari to start next season, and the team already released veteran Rick Wagner, creating the need.

Jenkins, a 35-game starter at Oklahoma State, might be a long-term answer for the Packers at right tackle.

The Draft Network believes Jenkins has the size and skill set to be a starter at either tackle or guard at the next level. According to Pro Football Focus, Jenkins gave up just two sacks and 32 total pressures over his final three seasons.

In college, Jenkins started games at left tackle, right tackle and guard. He was a two-time All-Big 12 selection.
