The Green Bay Packers made four different changes to the team’s practice squad on Tuesday.
The Packers signed defensive lineman Brian Price, activated running back Dexter Williams from the practice squad’s injured reserve, released offensive tackle Ryan Pope and placed defensive lineman Delontae Scott on the practice squad’s injured reserve.
Brice, who originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Packers, provides some veteran depth along the defensive line as the Packers wait for Billy Winn to get healthy. Price has played in 22 career games.
In 2016, Price appeared in one game as a rookie with the Packers. He went on to play eight games for the Dallas Cowboys in 2017 and 13 more between the Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders in 2018. Price was most recently with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Williams was on injured reserve nursing a knee injury he suffered during a win over the San Francisco 49ers. He is once again eligible to be elevated from the practice squad should the Packers need help at the running back position down the stretch.
Pope was originally signed to the practice squad on Sept. 16. He did not appear in any games for the Packers.
Scott is a rookie undrafted free agent who has not been elevated from the practice squad this season.
