Packers LT David Bakhtiari named second-team All-Pro, Za’Darius Smith snubbed

The Green Bay Packers had only one player included on the 2019 AP All-Pro team.

Offensive tackle David Bakhtiari was named the second-team left tackle, making him a four-time All-Pro, while edge rusher Za’Darius Smith came up just a few votes short of the second-team.

The Packers, who finished 13-3, did not have a first-team All-Pro.

Bakhtiari has earned second-team All-Pro honors three of the last four years (2016-17, 2019). He was a first-team All-Pro last season.

Smith finished fifth in edge rusher voting behind Chandler Jones (first-team), T.J. Watt (first-team), Shaquil Barrett (second-team) and Cameron Jordan (second-team). A free-agent addition of the Packers, Smith led the NFL in quarterback hits and total pressures in 2019.

Aaron Jones (flex), Blake Martinez (linebacker) and Tramon Williams (defensive back) also received votes. Smith also received a vote at linebacker.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers did not receive a single vote. Only Lamar Jackson and Russell Wilson received votes at quarterback.
