Packers LT David Bakhtiari named first-team All-Pro in 2020

Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari was named a first-team All-Pro for the 2020 NFL season by the Associated Press.

Bakhtiari, who finished with the top pass-blocking grade among offensive tackles at Pro Football Focus, received 26 of the possible 50 votes for first-team All-Pro. He is joined by right tackle Jack Conklin of the Cleveland Browns as the two first-team offensive tackles in 2020.

Bakhtiari is now a two-time first-team All-Pro. He was previously a first-team selection in 2018. Including second-team selections, Bakhtiari has been an All-Pro for five straight seasons dating back to 2016.

Bakhtiari missed four games to injury and is currently on injured reserve after suffering a significant knee injury before the Packers’ Week 17 win over the Chicago Bears. He played 758 total snaps and 446 pass-blocking snaps, allowing just one sack and nine total pressures.

Bakhtiari was one of just 10 offensive linemen in the NFL this season to play at least 50 percent of snaps and allow one or fewer sacks, per PFF. He allowed zero pressures in five of his 12 starts and gave up multiple pressures in a game just once.

The Packers signed Bakhtiari to a record-setting extension in November. He is now the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history.

The Packers had four first-team All-Pros and six total All-Pros in 2020.
