Packers LT David Bakhtiari jumps 48 spots to No. 43 on NFL ‘Top 100’ list

Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari jumped 48 spots to No. 43 overall on NFL Network’s “Top 100” players list for 2019.

Bakhtiari is the first Packers player to make this year’s list.

A three-time All-Pro, Bakhtiari cracked the top 50 of the annual list for the first time. He ranked No. 91 overall entering last sesason.

In 2018, Bahktiari earned first-team All-Pro honors at left tackle and was named Pro Football Focus’ top pass-blocking offensive lineman.

According to PFF, Bakhtiari allowed only 25 total pressures and had the highest pass-blocking grade among offensive tackles.

Late last year, quarterback Aaron Rodgers said Bakhtiari is on his way to a Hall of Fame career.

He’s an All-Pro. I think he has Hall of Fame potential,” Rodgers said last December. “He’s an incredible player. He’s been a rock for us. When he’s over there, you feel really comfortable with him locking down pass rushers throughout the game.”
