Packers host pre-draft visit with Toledo CB Ka’dar Hollman

The Green Bay Packers hosted an official pre-draft visit with Toledo cornerback Ka’dar Hollman, an experienced and productive college player who posted impressive testing numbers at Toledo’s pro day.

Jason Hirschhorn of Acme Packing Company first reported the visit.

Hollman (6-0, 196) intercepted two passes and broke up 27 more over 39 games (37 starts) during his last three seasons at Toledo. Last season, he led the MAC in pass breakups with 12. He also forced a fumble and recovered a fumble while making 43 tackles.

According to Pro Football Focus, Hollman gave up a catch rate of 44.9 and a passer rating against of 79.7, although he did give up nine touchdown passes in three seasons and over 2,000 snaps as a starter.

Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst reported that Hollman ran the 40-yard dash in 4.37 seconds and hit 39″ on the vertical leap at Toledo’s pro day. His speed and explosive jumping ability have put him on the radar for NFL teams that are always looking for more of both at the position.

From Pauline’s draft report: “Hollman possesses terrific measurables and has shown good development the past two seasons, which could help him find a place on a practice squad this summer.”

The Packers, who lost Bashaud Breeland in free agency, could target Hollman with a late-round pick or in college free agency. With experience, athleticism and upside, he’s exactly the kind of small school prospect that could come into training camp as an undrafted free agent and find a way to earn a roster spot.
