The Associated Press voted four members of the Green Bay Packers to the first team of the NFL’s All-Pro Team in 2020.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, receiver Davante Adams, center Corey Linsley and left tackle David Bakhtiari are all first-team All-Pros.
The Packers tied the Indianapolis Colts with an NFL-high four first-team selections.
Adams and Linsley are first-time All-Pros. Rodgers has his third first-team selection (2011, 2014), while Bakhtiari now has two (2018).
Rodgers being voted as the first-team quarterback bodes well for his MVP chances. The same voters who vote for the All-Pro Team also vote for MVP. He received 46 of the 50 first-team votes. Rodgers threw an NFL-high 48 touchdown passes and had a league-best 121.5 passer rating.
Adams is the first Packers receiver to be voted first-team All-Pro since Antonio Freeman in 1998. He caught 18 touchdown passes, tying Sterling Sharpe’s team record and finished tied for third all-time. He received 49 of 50 first-team votes, nearly becoming an unanimous selection.
Linsley wasn’t a Pro Bowler, but he’s now a first-team All-Pro, a significant individual achievement for a veteran offensive lineman with an expiring contract.
Bakhtiari is just the seventh Packers offensive lineman with two or more first-team All-Pro selections in team history.
Cornerback Jaire Alexander and outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith were named second-team All-Pros.
Guard Elgton Jenkins, safety Adrian Amos and kicker Mason Crosby all received All-Pros votes but were not named to the team.
