Packers GM Brian Gutekunst in attendance at Arizona State pro day

Green Bay Packers GM Brian Gutekunst is one of several NFL GMs in attendance at Arizona State’s pro day Wednesday, according to Omar Ruiz of NFL Network.

Among the NFL prospects working out for the Sun Devils are receiver N’Keal Harry and defensive lineman Renell Wren.

The pro day is in close proximity to the NFL owners meetings, providing a convenient opportunity for GMs in Phoenix to get a closer look at a few of Arizona State’s top players.

Harry would seem to be the player to note for the Packers. Gutekunst and several of his scouts were in attendance for Harry’s big game against USC last October, and the Packers may be targeting a versatile receiver like Harry in the first few rounds.

Lance Zierlein of NFL.com compared Harry to Allen Robinson, who the Packers attempted to sign in free agency last March. Zierlein also described Harry as a “back-shoulder boss” with “undeniable” ball skills, making him a potentially intriguing fit with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Wren might also be on the Packers’ radar. He’s big (6-5, 318) and strong (30 reps) and could profile as a Muhammad Wilkerson-like player along the defensive line.
