Packers get together to play paintball on final day of minicamp

Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur has his team patrolling a different kind of field on the final day of mandatory minicamp.

As many coaches around the NFL have done, the Packers are spending the final day of the offseason workout program together doing a team-building activity. This year, LaFleur and the Packers picked paintball.

Commando Paintball Sports in Little Suamico, situated roughly 20 minutes north of Green Bay, is hosting the event.

Several players have documented the experience Thursday via social media.

Past coaches have skipped practice and used minicamp as a chance to do team-building activities, including playing paintball. Other past activities include golf, pigeon shooting, bowling and dodgeball.

The Packers will be finished with the offseason workout program by the end of Thursday. Players and coaches won’t get back together until the end of July for the start of training camp. Players report July 24, with the first practice scheduled for July 25.
