Packers final injury report: TE Josiah Deguara listed as questionable in Week 18

Only tight end Josiah Deguara has an injury designation for the Green Bay Packers entering Week 18. The team listed Deguara, who has a calf injury, as questionable to play against the Detroit Lions. All other players were removed from the final injury report on Friday and are expected to be available to play Sunday in the season finale.

The Packers are remarkably healthy, even if coach Matt LaFleur did express some concern over Deguara’s injury. The third-year tight end practiced in a limited capacity on Friday after missing Thursday’s session.

Deguara plays an important role as the H-back for the offense and on several groups on special teams.

Last week, rookie receiver Christian Watson and kickoff returner Keisean Nixon were questionable, but both played. In fact, Nixon delivered a signature play of the season when he returned a kickoff 105 yards for the game’s first and only go-ahead touchdown. Neither Watson nor Nixon has an injury designation this week.

Another player of note: Yosh Nijman, the starting right tackle who exited last week’s game with a recurring shoulder injury, does not have an injury designation. He practiced in full on Friday.

The Lions listed five players as questionable, including cornerback Jeff Okudah (who was added to the injury report with an elbow injury on Friday), and ruled out guard Kayode Awosika. Defensive lineman Michael Brockers, center Frank Ragnow, safety DeShon Elliott and fullback Jason Cabinda are also questionable.

The Packers will know 90 minutes before kickoff if Deguara can officially go. Inactives will be due for both teams around 5:50 p.m. on Sunday night.
