Packers fill practice squad by signing TE Ethan Wolf

The Green Bay Packers filled the team’s last remaining spot on the practice squad by signing tight end Ethan Wolf, who spent time on the team’s practice squad last season.

The Packers had a spot available after promoting running back Tra Carson to the 53-man roster before Sunday’s win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Wolf (6-6, 252) played in three preseason games with the Jacksonville Jaguars this past summer. The Packers first signed Wolf to the practice squad last October.

Wolf was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Tennessee Titans in 2018. He caught 91 passes for 998 yards and seven touchdowns over 50 collegiate games at Tennessee.

Wolf joins Evan Baylis as the two tight ends on the Packers’ practice squad.
