Packers DL Montravius Adams arrested on three charges in Georgia

A member of the Green Bay Packers defense is in some hot water.

According to Tom Green of AL.com, defensive lineman Montravius Adams was arrested on Tuesday night on three different misdemeanor charges, including marijuana possession and driving without vehicle registration. He was later released on bond.

A third-round pick of the Packers in 2017, Adams has played in 37 games as a rotational player during his first three NFL seasons. His impact – reflected by his 33 career tackles and 1.5 career sacks over 465 career snaps – has been minimal.

Last season, Adams graded out at Pro Football Focus as one of the NFL’s worst defensive linemen. He was very poor against the run and produced next to nothing as a pass-rusher, tallying just one hurry over 112 pass-rushing snaps.

Adams, a native of Georgia, will enter the final year of his rookie contract on the roster bubble. He’ll turn 25 in July.
