The Green Bay Packers announced a pair of promotions within Brian Gutekunst’s front office on Tuesday.
Richmond Williams was promoted from pro scout to director of pro personnel and Brett Thiesen was named a college scout after spending last year as a scouting intern.
Williams brings seven years of prior scouting experience with the Packers to his new role, including the last two years as a pro scout. He’ll replace John Wojciechowski, who was promoted co-director of player personnel last year.
Thiesen, a former college football player, was a scouting intern on the pro and college side for the Packers last season. He’ll join a group of six other college scouts under the leadership of Matt Malaspina, the director of college scouting.
