Packers announce official schedule for 2019 training camp

The Green Bay Packers will officially begin training camp on Thursday, July 25. The team announced Tuesday that all public practices will begin at 10:15 a.m. at Ray Nitschke Field.

Of the 20 practices, 16 will be open to the public.

The team has not announced start times for joint practices against the Houston Texans, which are set for Aug. 5 and 6. The Packers will also host their annual family night at Lambeau Field on Friday, Aug. 2.

Below is a full schedule for Packers training camp 2019:

July 22: Rookies report for camp
July 24: Veterans report for camp
July 25: First team practice, 10:15 a.m.
July 26-28: Practice, 10:15 a.m.

July 30-Aug 1: Practice, 10:15 a.m.
Aug. 2: Family Night, 7:30 p.m.
Aug. 4: Practice, 10:15 a.m.
Aug. 5-6: Joint practice with Houston, TBA
Aug. 8: Preseason opener vs. Houston, 7:00 p.m.
Aug. 10-11 and 13: Practice, 10:15 a.m.
Aug. 15: Preseason game @ Baltimore, 6:30 p.m.
Aug. 18-19: Practice, 10:15 a.m.
Aug. 22: Preseason game @ Oakland (Canada), 7:00 p.m.
Aug. 29: Preseason game vs. Kansas City, 7:00 p.m.

Green Bay’s training camp is estimated to attract 90,000 visitors per year with an economic impact of approximately $9 million for the local community. Once again, the team will stay in the dorm rooms at St. Norbert College in De Pere, an ongoing tradition since 1958.
