Packers add Butkus to coaching staff

The Green Bay Packers are trying really hard to troll the Chicago Bears.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Dick Butkus’ nephew Luke has been named Green Bay’s assistant offensive line coach.

Packers have named Dick Butkus’ nephew, Luke Butkus, as their assistant offensive line coach.

The former Illinois center spent time on the Bears’ coaching staff as an assistant offensive line coach from 2007-10 before bouncing between college and pro coaching gigs.

As the old saying goes, “if you can’t beat them, join them.” The Packers proved last season they’ve fallen way behind the Bears in the NFC North, so maybe bringing a Butkus into the building will help their cause a little.
