- The charity, which receives approximately 14 package holiday complaints daily, highlighted common grievances including unexpected hotel changes, denied refunds, and substandard customer service.
- Of the 3,500 complaints lodged with Citizens Advice Consumer Service, 42 per cent concerned all-inclusive packages booked abroad, with quality issues (33 per cent) and customer service failures (19 per cent) being significant factors.
- These problems led to one in four affected holidaymakers suffering stress, anxiety, or upset, while 17 per cent incurred additional daily expenses due to the issues.
