BHOPAL: A pack of stray dogs attacked and severely injured a four-year-old girl in city's Bag Sewania locality on Saturday afternoon.
Around 4.16pm, the terrified girl was seen in the CCTV camera footage. She was running and five dogs were seen chasing her. The dogs grabbed her top in their sharp teeth due to which the girl fell on the road and the five dogs started biting her.
Fortunately, a youth reached the spot and threw a stone to shoo away the dogs otherwise they would have mauled her to death.
The incident was caught on a CCTV camera fitted outside a house in the neighbourhood and the footage went viral on social media platforms.
Bag Sewania police had no information of the incident till the filing of the report as the matter was not reported to police.
SHO Bag Sewania Sanjeev Chouksey said that he had seen the video on social media platforms but the matter was not reported to police yet.
The minor's parents are labourers and reside in the area.
The girls was undergoing treatment at a hospital.
