'Faultless' - here's how the Nottingham Forest players contributed in victory over Brentford

Nottingham Forest went into the international break on the back of a win after beating Brentford 1-0 at the City Ground on Saturday.

Here's how we rated Sabri Lamouchi's Reds as they made it 10 unbeaten in the Championship.

Brice Samba: Made one excellent save in the first half when wrong footed by a deflected free-kick. The rest of his work was perfectly competent. 7

Matty Cash: Tremendous performance by the right-back both defensively and going forwards. Showed pace, power and real intent. Hard to see how Carl Jenkinson could come straight in when fit. 9

Joe Worrall: Faultless at the back and set up the winner with his header for Watson to score. 9

Chema Rodriguez: A good solid performance without looking as dominant as Worrall. Looks a good signing after his first Championship start. 8

Yuri Ribeiro: Clearly loves getting forward but did the defensive side of his role well too. 8

Ben Watson: Another immense performance from the veteran midfielder and stand-in captain. Watson had barely put a foot wrong before he scored his second goal in as many home games. 9

Samba Sow: Not his day. Started the game sloppily and made a couple of other errors before going off injured. Still had tremendous work rate. 7

Joe Lolley: Looked dangerous when he got the ball and has forged a really good understanding with Matty Cash. 7

Tiago Silva: Played the central attacking midfield role instead of Carvalho and twice came close to scoring, especially with a first half free-kick. 7

Joao Carvalho: Had his moments with the odd excellent pass, but found it difficult to get in the game regularly playing from the left wing. 6

Lewis Grabban: Worked tremendously hard without ever having a proper sniff of a goal. Really was the first line of defence and made it difficult for Brentford's defenders all afternoon. 8

Subs: Sammy Ameobi (for Carvalho 63): Took over from Carvalho on the left wing initially and did a steady job before going to play as a number 10. 6

Albert Adomah (for Sow 77): Came on for Sow after he went off hurt and helped see the game out. 6

Rafa Mir (for Grabban 90): Replaced Grabban in stoppage time and looked desperate for that first Reds goal. 5
