Pablo Hernandez's wife sends message after what Leeds United fans did

There’s no doubt Pablo Hernandez is still loved by the Leeds United fans despite leaving the club at the end of last season.

The 36-year-old departed the Whites after five years to join Spanish third-tier side Castellon, where he began his career.

But Hernandez left a lasting impression on Leeds as he scored the goal to take them back to the Premier League and played an important role throughout the 2019/20 season.

He remains a firm favourite and the former Swansea City midfielder’s wife Mar Garcia has claimed that a number of Whites supporters watched Hernandez’s Castellon as they faced Barcelona B on Saturday.

Although the Spaniard showed class on the pitch, he was also impressive off it too and often took time out to greet supporters, whilst being a role model to many younger players.

Whilst at Leeds, Hernandez made a kind gesture to Castellon and helped the club out financially amid insolvency concerns and still remains a shareholder.

He shares that responsibility as well as playing, too, and has impressed in his five league matches to date, scoring once which came on his second debut against Albacete.

Although Castellon have only picked up five points and sit in mid-table, Hernandez has shown signs of getting back to his best despite coming towards the latter end of his career.

The vast majority of his time at Leeds was a fairytale story and it’s great to see he’s enjoying his time back in his home country.
