Pablo Fornals to start, Aaron Cresswell decision - West Ham predicted XI to take on Arsenal

David Moyes is not expected to make wholesale changes to his team following the 0-0 draw with Burnley on Sunday afternoon but may look to freshen up his attacking line-up this evening.

The Hammers did not create enough sights of goal at Turf Moor and Moyes may look to bring Pablo Fornals back into the side to help provide more opportunities for the Hammers forwards.

The other big decision the manager is facing is over Aaron Cresswell and whether the defender is fit enough to return to the team following a four game absence. Cresswell missed the trip to Burnley but was back in training at Rush Green with Moyes claiming the defender "had a chance" of making it back in time for tonight's match.

If Cresswell is fit then the left-back is expected to come straight back into the team and replace Arthur Masuaku. If today comes too soon for the full-back Masuaku is set to retain his spot even with Moyes admitting it is not his best position.

"We are happy with Arthur but he is probably better as a wing-back than a left-back but he is more than capable," Moyes said ahead of the trip to the Emirates.

With Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna out and Ben Johnson not ready to return just yet the remainder of the back four, Vladimir Coufal, Craig Dawson and Issa Diop is set to stay unchanged ahead of former Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.

The midfield pairing of Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek will continue in the heart of the pitch behind the Hammers attacking quartet.

Manuel Lanzini's fine recent form has seen him nail down a starting spot of late and the Argentine is expected to continue in the No.10 role with Jarrod Bowen also a certain starter on the right. This leaves just one spot for either Pablo Fornals or Said Benrahma on the left. Benrahma got the nod at Turf Moor but failed to impress and Fornals looks set to come back into the team.

Despite scoring just one in 12 matches lone striker Michail Antonio will start for the Hammers with Moyes claiming his No.9 is nearing his best once more.

"When you become a No.9 you go through phases when you can't score and the secret is to keep going," Moyes said. "When his form's good, I think the team plays much better. His all-round form is really important to how we play, but I've seen signs it's just beginning to click a little with him again, so hopefully, we're not too far away."

Predicted West Ham XI - Fabianski; Coufal, Diop, Dawson, Masuaku; Rice, Soucek; Lanzini, Fornals, Bowen; Antonio
