Ozil, Tierney and Martinelli - Latest Arsenal team news and expected line-up vs Bournemouth

Arsenal can make it eight games unbeaten across all competitions when they face Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

Following a 3-1 loss away at Liverpool in August, the Gunners have responded well - even if the performances haven't always met supporters' expectations.

There has been draws against Tottenham Hotspur, Watford and Manchester United as well as back-to-back wins in the Europa League group phase - with the latest coming against Standard Liege in midweek.

Attentions now turn to the final Premier League game before the second international break of the season.

The Gunners welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates Stadium and many eyes are on if Unai Emery recall Mesut Ozil to his matchday squad after leaving the 30-year-old out against Manchester United as well as Standard Liege.

Speaking after the 4-0 win over the latter in the Europa League on Thursday night, Emery outlined what Ozil must do to get back in his plans ahead of this weekend's clash against the Cherries.

"I am thinking every time the best players for the match," Emery said. "When I decided he isn’t in the squad it’s because other players deserve it more.

"What does he have to do? Continue working.

"Sunday we have another match. We are going to decide again."

But what's the latest team news surrounding the Gunners? Football.london takes a look.

In terms of injuries, there are no fresh concerns as Alexandre Lacazette remains sidelined and will not feature against Eddie Howe's side.

Just like Ozil, full-back duo Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney will also be pushing for starts after playing 90 minutes against Standard Liege.

In terms of a line-up, one of many decisions Emery has to make is whether or not he sticks with the in-form Gabriel Martinelli or hand a recall to Nicolas Pepe who is struggling for form.

Given that the Spaniard rested Bukayo Saka on Thursday it's likely that the teenager will reclaim his place while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Pepe are set to return.

Expected Arsenal line-up vs Bournemouth: Leno; Chambers, Sokratis, David Luiz, Kolasinac; Xhaka, Guendouzi, Ceballos; Pepe, Aubameyang, Saka
