Good morning, Arsenal fans. Here is your morning digest for Sunday, November 1.
Ozil posts message following Arteta comments
Mesut Ozil has updated Arsenal supporters as his first-team exile continues.
The German midfielder, who has not played for the club since March, was left out of the Gunners' Premier League and Europa League squads by Mikel Arteta for footballing reasons.
"What I can tell you (is) that I tried my best, I tried to give him as many opportunities as I could," Arteta told Sky Sports this week. "And that from my own side, I've been patient, given him opportunities and been fair.
"He's a player that belongs to a football club, he's been a really important player in the last few seasons. I have to respect that, I'm here to make decisions, the best decisions for the team and for the club."
Ozil is in the final year of his £350,000-a-week contract at the Emirates and is expected to leave the club when that deal expires next summer.
And while he may not be able to play for Arsenal, the 32-year-old showed that he is keeping in shape by posting a video on Instagram in the gym.
The caption read: "The struggles along the way are only meant to shape you for your purpose."

Selection hint dropped ahead of United clash?
Arsenal take on Manchester United this afternoon at Old Trafford and Gunners fans believe Arteta has dropped a selection hint ahead of the game.
While the likes of David Luiz, Rob Holding, Pablo Mari, Gabriel Martinelli, and, of course, Ozil, will be absent for the trip, there may be a return to the side for a player who sat out the Europa League win over Dundalk on Thursday.
Arsenal fans are convinced Bukayo Saka will start against United because of a 'Behind the scenes at Arsenal Training Centre' video uploaded to the club's YouTube account which shows the teenager operating as a right winger.
And the England international isn't the only likely starter, according to a number of Arsenal supporters. Click here to read more.
Arsenal can fix major midfield problem in January
It appears Isco’s time as a Real Madrid player is coming to an end, and that may give Arsenal a transfer market opportunity in January.
The four-time Champions League winner has been deemed surplus to requirements, and The Mirror claim that he is keen to link-up with Carlo Ancelotti at Everton.
The pair worked together with Los Blancos, alongside James Rodriguez, and now a potential reunion is being discussed.
As Nestor Watach argues, however, it would be an ideal opportunity for Arsenal to steal in and sign the player and fix a mifield problem in the process.
