Ozark season 4 final episodes date announced as Netflix release teaser trailer

Netflix have finally confirmed when the final episodes of Ozark season 4 will be released.

On Wednesday, the streaming service released a teaser trailer of what's to come as the epic series comes to an end.

The 49-second clip features a voiceover by actress Julia Garner, who plays Ruth Langmore.

It begins with Ruth driving with tears in her eyes as she is heard saying: "My childhood traumas are not like yours. You see, I'm a cursed Langmore."

Viewers then get a glimpse of her cousin Wyatt outside their trailer, as Ruth continues: "Long inured to violence and death. And in the case of a Langmore, perhaps not soon enough."

There's a brief of Darlene Snell's front door taped up as a crime scene following the brutal murder of her and Wyatt Langmore (Charlie Tahan) in season 4 episode 7 entitled 'Sanctified'.

It then switches to drug lord Omar Navarro (Felix Solis) laying in his prison cell as someone opens the door, before showing his hotheaded nephew Javier (Alfonso Herrera) grinning.

The epic teaser trailer ends with Ruth looking a gun which is on the passenger seat of her car as she contemplates what to do next.

It ends with the words: "The end arrives sooner than you think. The final episodes. 04.29.22."

The latest episode of Ozark was left on somewhat of a cliffhanger as Ruth went on a rampage after finding the bodies of Wyatt and Darlene (Lisa Emery) after they were shot by Javier.

Ruth immediately drove her car to the Byrde residence and stormed inside as she waved a gun at Marty (Jason Bateman) and demanded he tell her what had happened.

When Jonah Byrde (Skylar Gaertner) blurted out it could have been Javier, Marty and Wendy begged her not to do anything to him - but it fell on deaf ears.

In perhaps one of the most amazing scenes on television, Ruth screamed at Marty: "If you wanna stop me, you're gonna have to f*cking kill me!"

The episode ended with Ruth driving and it seems pretty certain that she'll be heading for Javier to get revenge.

Ozark: The Final Episodes will be available to watch on Netflix on Friday 29 April.
