Ozan Kabak embarrasses Trent Alexender-Arnold in Liverpool training ahead of Man City fixture

Ozan Kabak has already made an impression on his new Liverpool team-mates by leaving Trent Alexander-Arnold red-faced in training.

The defender arrived on February 1 on loan as Liverpool aim to plug some holes at the back.

Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip have both been ruled out until the end of the season, while Joe Gomez isn't expected to return until the latter stages of the campaign.

Kabak, 20, arrived from Schalke in what is both a signing for now and the future should he impress as Jurgen Klopp hopes the Turkish international can ease his injury crisis.

The centre-back could make his debut against Manchester City and has already been turning heads in training ahead of the fixture.

In a game of rondo, Kabak produces a fancy pass which sails through the legs of Alexander-Arnold.

The right-back looks thoroughly unimpressed but his partner in the middle, Andy Robertson, drops to the floor after the incident.

Kabak attempts to play it off coolly but can't help but break a wry smile.

The defender could make his debut on Sunday and it's a moment that will come as a dream come true to Kabak.

"Liverpool was my childhood team," he said after signing.

"So I always wanted to come to this club, to play at this amazing stadium, in front of these amazing fans. So it's a dream for me.

"Now the dream comes true."
