Oxlade-Chamberlain dropped, van Dijk and Alisson start - Predicted Liverpool line up vs Chelsea

Jurgen Klopp has some big decisions to make ahead of Liverpool vs Chelsea.

The Reds suffered a 2-1 defeat against Arsenal last time out and with the title already secured, it seems like the perfect chance for the German tactician to rotate his squad.

However, if previous games since his side were crowned champions are anything to go by then it will be a very strong Liverpool team that takes to the field in Merseyside for their final home game of the season.

With that said, Klopp has revealed the problem facing his side ahead of kick-off.

"It’s not the easiest game I ever prepared with a team, to be honest, because there are two things tomorrow night," he told the club's official website. "Usually I don’t have to think about something else apart from the football game, which helps me a lot because I can really be focused.

"I will try that and I know the boys will try that as well. In the end, we only can win when we are at 100 per cent and we will see if that’s possible tomorrow night.

"We have to go for something as well, it’s not that we only are there and wait until the party starts. We have to save a record, a home record, stuff like this [so] for us as well there are some targets.

"Again, we have to see, how we do always, how we deal with it.

"I’m very positive that these boys will put a proper performance out there on the pitch but if it’s enough, we have to show tomorrow night."

In terms of team news, vice-captain James Milner could be available after overcoming a minor muscle issue that has sidelined him since the beginning of the month.

Although, captain Jordan Henderson and central defender Joel Matip are two senior Liverpool players who will miss tonight's Premier League clash against the Blues.

With that said, we expect Liverpool's back five to be unchanged from the Arsenal game.

This means Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk start again after being at fault for both goals conceded at the Emirates Stadium.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain did not have the best of times against his old club, so he could be replaced by Naby Keita in the midfield alongside Fabinho and Georginio Wijnaldum.

And in attack is the trio of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

Liverpool XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Keita, Wijnaldum; Salah, Firmino, Mane
