Oxford vs Sunderland team selector - How would you line up in the Carabao Cup this evening?

Sunderland travel to the Kassam Stadium this evening to take on Oxford United in the Carabao Cup fourth round.

It is a huge opportunity for the Black Cats to reach the quarter-finals of the competition as they take on a fellow League One side.

The potential for a lucrative quarter-final against one of the Premier League big boys is the prize at stake for Sunderland and although promotion remains the number one priority, they are expected to name a strong team.

As always, Phil Parkinson will have to battle against injury issues and Sunderland will travel south without Lee Burge, Elliot Embleton, Lynden Gooch and Charlie Wyke through injury.

Jon McLaughlin will almost certainly start in goal but Parkinson has options right across the back four to choose from.

Similarly in the centre of midfield, Parkinson has to make a decision as to which two of George Dobson, Grant Leadbitter, Max Power and Dylan McGeouch start.

Will Grigg has largely led the line for Sunderland under Parkinson but Marc McNulty and young star Benji Kimpioka are decent alternatives if Parkinson chooses to freshen things up.

So how would you start at Oxford this evening? Let us know by picking your team in our team selector tool below.
