Oxford Street stabbings: Three men knifed and two arrested after fight near nightclub in Mayfair

Three people were taken to hospital and two men arrested after a triple stabbing during a fight near to a celebrity nightclub in Mayfair.

The victims, three men all aged 24, were attacked on Oxford Street near to Tape nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Blood was left spattered along the pavement alongside discarded clothing after the knife attack.

Police and paramedics raced to the scene after they were called to reports of a stabbing at 3.40am.

Scotland Yard said three men all suffering from stab injuries were taken to a central London hospital.

Two other men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon. They remained in custody at central London police stations on Sunday morning.

A cordon is in place on Oxford Street. It is closed in both directions between New Bond Street and Harewood Place.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Officers remain on scene and enquiries are ongoing.”

Police said the men's injuries were not life-threatening.
