A puppy snatched from its home in a terrifying late-night attack has been reunited with his owners.
David Waters and Caitlin Maley launched a desperate public appeal to find Cairo with a reward for his safe return after he was snatched from his Pollok home on Wednesday.
A gang of men wearing balaclavas gained entry to the property and threatened owner David Waters "at knifepoint" before stealing with American Bulldog pup and making off on foot.
But now lucky Cairo is back in the arms of his beloved owners after he was found at the side of the road in Shettleston this evening.

Caitlin broke the news with a photo of her pooch on a Facebook post.
She wrote: "We have got Cairo, he was left by the side of the road in Shettleston. Thank you everyone who shared and helped get our boy back."
The post has been liked more than 7,000 times as more than a thousand well-wishers shared their delight at the announcement.
