People who own apartments at Kingston Quay in Glasgow have complained that illegal short-term lets are ruining their homes.
Built in 2002, the £32 million luxury residential development was previously considered one of the more premium postcodes in the country but residents say that a refusal to crack down on holiday lets has made it hard to live there.
As reported by the Daily Record, drug use is rampant and there are abandoned cars in the development's car park.
Kingston Quay previously made headlines this year when a 38-year-old man was discovered dead in March, after which a 32-year-old man was arrested and is due to appear in court later in the year.
Residents also say that damage in the development is not being repaired, further reducing quality of life.
Some have reportedly attempted to oust MXM Property Solutions as manager of the development, though were unsuccessful after fellow resident Nadeem Sarwar legally blocked the move.
Victoria Watson, 36, who has lived in the luxury block for 12 years, said common areas in the flats now resembled a war zone.
The psychotherapist said: “These are nice flats in a nice part of the city.
"But they’ve fallen into a total state of disrepair.

“Almost all the problems come from damage done and repairs not made by the factor.
“People like me pay £100 a month in fees.
"We have wires exposed on the ceiling, holes in the wall, dog urine stains on carpets and people sleeping rough in the stairwells.
“It’s unbelievable.
"The stench of drugs being smoked hangs in the air."
