The owners of 53 Liverpool which was destroyed in a huge fire say they 'need a roof' but 'will be back soon'.
Firefighters were called to the Berry Street venue at 4.45am on Thursday after a fire broke out.
The Liverpool city centre bar and Italian restaurant was gutted in the fire - the flames of which could be seen towering over the now collapsed roof.
In a statement issued on its social media the owners of 53 Liverpool said they will need some time but will be back.
The statement which was posted alongside a picture of the city centre building on fire reads: "So...this happened.
"We are going to need a bit of time to tidy up the dance floor (and we need a roof)...but we will be back soon.
"Thankfully nobody was hurt...thanks to our many industry friends and brilliant customers for your messages.
"Any bookings: please email info@53liverpool.co.uk for refunds etc...please note we will start replying from Monday onwards."
A statement on the venue's Instagram page also said how the staff were understandably going through an 'extremely hard time'.
The post said: "As you can imagine this is an extremely hard time for us at @53liverpool please can anyone with booths booked be patient, I will deal with refunds etc when I get chance."
Dozens of firefighters and ten fire engines were deployed to the fire this morning and the area was immediately cordoned off.

Road closures remain in place on Berry Street in both directions - it is not known how long the road will be closed for.
Roscoe Street has since been reopened.
Videos taken at the scene this morning show the towering inferno firefighters were faced with, when the fire was at its peak.
However, due to the quick response from firefighters, the fire was able to be contained and did not spread to nearby buildings.
MFRS Assistant Chief Fire Officer Dave Mottram said: "Our crews have done an amazing job in getting this fire under control so quickly and effectively.
"In challenging circumstances, given the property’s close proximity to other buildings, crews successfully contained the fire to the original property.
"The speed of crews’ response and firefighting actions ensured the fire, which was well alight on our arrival, did not spread further."

This afternoon Mersey Fire and Rescue told the ECHO that it was "scaling down its operation" however some firefighters remained at the scene.
It is not yet known what caused the fire and it is understood that the incident has not been passed to Merseyside Police.
