Owners of a historic Bristol pub which is listed as 'permanently closed' on Google have pledged to reopen it when coronavirus restrictions are eased further.
The last time the King's Head pulled a pint was March 2020, before it was forced to close because of the first coronavirus lockdown.
While many hospitality venues across Bristol have since reopened, the small Victoria Street pub has stayed shut - prompting doubts over its future.
But the company which owns it has allayed fears by stating it is on the lookout for a new tenant to take up the reins.
Stonegate, one of the largest pub companies in the UK, hopes to fire up the pumps of the King's Head on June 21, which is when the Government hopes to be in a position to remove all legal limits on social contact.
A spokesperson for the Stonegate Group said: "Due to the limitation of size and space at the King’s Head and the current social distancing restrictions the pub has not reopened yet.
"However, we continue to recruit for the pub with an ambition to reopen for June 21."
The cosy pub is known for its snug, ye-olde charm and no-frills drinks offering.
Its most recent TripAdvisor review, from March 2020, enthuses: "A really unusually quirky old pub. Narrow and long with what seemed to be a an old 'snug' area where I sat with friends and chatted to some locals.
"Some decent ales on offer at average Bristol prices of about £5...Nice and warm, worth a visit just to relax."
Pub boasts 'some of oldest bar fittings in UK'
Stonegate's search for a new operator for the King's Head is ongoing, and the pub company wants to hear from prospective tenants.
Describing the pub, Stonegate says: "The King's Head is a Grade II listed pub in the centre of Bristol and is on the Campaign for Real Ale's National Inventory of historic pub interiors.

"The pub was built in the mid-17th century, refurnished around 1865, and with 19th and 20th-century additions.
"Welcoming and relaxed, the pub features a traditional bar, a cosy snug with a serving hatch and is decorated in toby jugs and historic photographs.
"The King's Head can justifiably boast a unique interior and some of the oldest bar fittings in the whole of the UK. We are seeking and experienced publican, who demonstrates the passion and knowledge needed to run this fantastic pub."
