NASU, Tochigi -- About 60 teams, comprised of people and their dogs, ran in a race on snow in Nasu, Tochigi Prefecture, on Sunday. They were participants in the Nasu Snow Dog Trail Run Race held at Mt. Jeans Ski Resort Nasu.
The event was organized by Wanko Net Nasu, an association that promotes travelling with pets.
The about one kilometer-long course was set up at the Gondola summit, which is 1,410 meters above sea level.
The races were contested in men's and women's categories, and those with small, medium and large-sized dogs.
