The owner of a stunning five-bedroom mansion is being raffled to a lucky winner for the price of a £2.50 ticket.
The property, located in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, is worth £570,000, but is now being sold through a competition.
The winner of the once-in-a-lifetime draw will be the proud owner of the property which has a detached garage and landscaped gardens - with some of the money raised going to the hospice that cared for Rangers legend Fernando Ricksen.
The rules are simple - answer a question to enter the competition, pay the £2.50 entry plus a one-off booking fee and the winner will be drawn using a number generating algorithm.
Philip Leckie, who lived in the house for a decade but now resides in Singapore, has hit back at people who say they suspect a scam, Edinburgh Live reports.
He said: "My parents still live in the area and brought me up with solid 'values'.
"I don’t need to steal and I also respect that people in life have to work extremely hard to get money.
"The £2.50 fee was to make it accessible for everyone, I just dislike the idea of people being 'priced out'."
The beautiful house has landscaped gardens and is set far back from the road, a paved drive, and a detached garage.
The property also has a wealth of original period features such as decorative coving and ceiling roses.
The upper level boasts five double bedrooms, with the master and bedroom three offering the additional benefit of en-suite shower rooms - and there's even a sauna in the attic.
The house is currently valued at £570,000. The original closing date for the competition was March 2020 but has been extended to 20 December 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic which would make the perfect Christmas present.
The winner will be required to visit McEwan Fraser Legal solicitors on East Claremont Street in Edinburgh by appointment and show a valid passport to prove their identity and will sign a Transfer Document.
