Owen Warner gushes over present from I'm a Celeb pal Jill Scott

Receiving a Christmas present from a Lioness is pretty cool in itself, but Jill Scott managed to delight fellow I’m A Celebrity …star Owen Warner with her ‘unreal’ gift. The queen of the jungle knew exactly what to get the Hollyoaks actor as he supports Leicester City FC.

Jill, 35, managed to bag an England shirt signed by Leicester midfielder James Maddison. He played in the England team at the Fifa World Cup in Qatar earlier this month.

Owen, 23, took to Instagram to tell his 537,000 followers about his unique Christmas present, The Mirror reports. He shared a video of the shirt and told his fans: “Look at that. How unreal is that? Jill has smashed it.”

Captioning the video, he wrote: “ JillScitjs8 won Christmas, can't believe she bagged this for me". The became close after appearing on I’m A Celeb together, which returned to Australia for the first time in two years following the lifting of coronavirus travel restrictions.

Jill and Owen made it to the final three, along with Matt Hancock. Owen came second while Jill was crowned queen of the jungle. Although he was popular with viewers, Owen recently admitted that he nearly quit the show as he felt he had “nothing to offer”.

Speaking on a recent episode of Loose Women following his stint in the jungle, Owen revealed: "I had no agenda, it was a bucket list thing and to meet Ant and Dec.

"I expected to be one of the first ones out and I was more than happy with that."

As Nadia asked if there were ever times he wanted to 'run' from camp, the star admitted: "Yeah, there were a few times when I thought 'what am i doing here' with so many amazing people talking about their careers and I didn't know what I had to offer."
