Owen Warner 'crying all the time' after leaving I'm A Celebrity jungle

Owen Warner said he was "crying all the time" after he left the I'm A Celeb jungle, thanks to the amazing response.

The Hollyoaks star, 23, looked back on his time in Oz on Loose Women today and was even almost moved to tears when he was reunited with his former campmate Charlene White, who surprised him.

The I'm A Celebrity runner-up joined Stacey Solomon, Judi Love, Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawalha on the ITV show to give his first ever live TV studio interview.

Speaking to the panel, Owen said he thought he would be one of the first celebs to leave, and he would have been "happy with that."

Opening up about the reaction he's experienced since Sunday's live final, the star told the panel: "It's been crazy! Even to the point where I was in the top with Jill [Scott]- my mind couldn't comprehend there was all this support, all this love, I just never in a million years thought it was be like this.

"And then coming out I had to take a little while to turn my phone on because just hearing people saying things was just a lot and I was just crying all the time."

He went on: "So many times, as soon as I got out, I took myself off and, I'm going to say it, had a just a little cry at how amazing it was. I love kind people and beautiful words and there was so much of that."

Owen was then surprised by Loose Women star Charlene and the pair shared a hug.

Gushing over how Charlene supported him, Owen said: "I'm so close to my family and to not have anyone but to have someone like Charlene was just amazing."

He added: "She wasn't pushing me or trying to drill what was wrong with me - she was just cheering me up."

During the interview, Nadia asked if there were ever times he wanted to 'run' from camp, the star admitted: "Yeah, there were a few times when I thought 'what am i doing here' with so many amazing people talking about their careers and I didn't know what I had to offer."

Earlier this week, Owen tucked into burger, chips, pizza, cake and more, as the Hollyoaks actor tries to put on some of the weight he lost in the jungle.

The soap star made no secret of the fact he was missing his grub during his time in camp, with ITV viewers left devastated last week when the hungry actor missed out on winning some chocolate brownies thanks to the campmates failing the daily Deals on Wheels challenge.

Speaking after Sunday night's I'm A Celebrity final, Owen explained how he entered the jungle weighing 13st 3oz, but drastically left over a stone lighter at 12st 2oz.

He told the Mirror: "I have eaten a lot since I left. I was getting a haircut while eating my pizza like anytime he was cutting my hair, he stopped for a second and I was shoving pizza in my mouth.

"I would also recommend it. I don't think now I am going to get a trim without food!"
