Owen Hargreaves makes Jadon Sancho prediction that Chelsea fans will absolutely love

Former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has suggested that Jadon Sancho would be worth every penny of the £100million-plus transfer fee that Borussia Dortmund would demand to allow him to leave the Signal Iduna Park.

The England international, who has been on the books of the Bundesliga club since 2017, following a move from Manchester City, is being heavily linked with a return to the Premier League ahead of the next transfer window opening for business.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United are leading the chase to sign the hugely talented 20-year-old, who took his tally of Bundesliga goals for the season to 17 on Sunday evening with a breathtaking second half hat-trick against relegation-threatened SC Paderborn, as Dortmund netted six second half goals to win 6-1.

Chelsea Q&A with Oliver Harbord

Sancho's showing was sublime, as he showed such calmness and composure in front of goal to fire home all three of the shots on target he had during the 90 minutes.

His performance, of course, immediately got people talking about his future, with reports linking him with a return to his homeland continuing to gather pace.

And even though it would take a bid of around £120million to make Dortmund consider letting go, former England international Hargreaves believes it would be worth it to see him showcasing his talents in the Premier League.

"He makes every team better, that’s for sure," Hargreaves told BT Sport.

"Everyone would love to have him. Man United, Man City, Liverpool, I think he’s that good that he gets in all of them.

"United, Chelsea and Arsenal would all love to have him. It depends on personnel and who could afford him?

"It will cost a lost but he’s a generational talent, truly remarkable with his goals and assists and he can play in different positions.

"He’s going to cost a lot but he’s worth it, I’d love to see him back in the Premier League."
