Owen Hargreaves was made to regret his three Manchester United predictions prior to the match against Villarreal - and it is all down to Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Red Devils are off the mark in the Champions League by the skin of their teeth following a last-gasp winner from the 36-year-old.
United were headed for another poor result following their loss to Young Boys in their European opener this season.
Villarreal had struck first in the second half but Alex Telles quickly cancelled that out with a fine equaliser.
But with the scores tied, Ronaldo emerged in the 95th minute to smash one home at Old Trafford to see the three points stay in Manchester.

Prior to the match, former United star Hargreaves revealed in the BT studio that he was excited to watch three players.
Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood and Paul Pogba all started in an attacking-minded set-up from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
However, none of them impressed and were turgid throughout the contest whereas Villarreal dominated large swathes of the match.
It was only through David de Gea that United managed to keep the scoreline down with the Spaniard making a number of key saves.
Hargreaves had said: “I am excited to see Paul Pogba at central midfield position.
"There are some great attacking players out there in Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood, and Ronaldo.
“I think it’s a good attacking team. The only worry is three of the normal back four aren’t playing tonight, consistency is important in that back four and it will be a test for Telles and Dalot."

As it turned out, only Ronaldo made an impact following his late goal that sent Old Trafford into a frenzy.
One especially happy observer was Solskjaer, who was ecstatic with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's impact - insisting this is what he is all about.
"That is what happens at Old Trafford,” he said.
”It has happened so many times before. We had to throw caution to the wind and we got lucky in the end.
"Sometimes it is not about 'pass there, pass there', it is the crowd - and they have sucked it in before - and when you have Cristiano on the pitch, you always have a chance. He is so good in front of goal and he has an impact on everyone."

Solskjaer added: "He has done that so many times. That is what he has done throughout his career.
"He is so strong mentally, he stays in the game and I have seen him all day today, how focused he has been.
"When he gets that one chance, it is a goal. A true mark of a very good finisher is keeping calm when the chance arrives."
