Owen Beck looks set to ignore interest from Rangers and stay in England with Derby County.
Russell Martin was interested in bringing the young Liverpool defender back to Scotland after his successful loan with Dundee. And it was reported yesterday Rangers were pushing to get a deal done.
However, he has had further interest from down south and The Telegraph now reports Derby County are closing in on the signing.
It will be a loan deal for the upcoming campaign and it's claimed the 22-year-old will have a medical this week.

County boss John Eustace was in charge at Blackburn Rovers last season when Beck had a loan spell there and was likely a factor in him heading to their Championship rivals.
Liverpool were reportedly looking for £10million to let the left-back leave permanently. That would have made things difficult for the Ibrox men and is potentially why he has ended up only going out on loan.
