Love Island favourite Ovie Soko allegedly had a massive fight with the other boys in the villa - but the altercation was never aired.
The 28-year-old is known for his chilled attitude, but he lost his cool when sanding up for Amber Gill.
The incredible revelation was made by ex-Love Islander Jourdan Riane, who feels that fans would love Ovie even more if they knew how protective he was.
Speaking on the Yellow Cup podcast, Jourdan said the much-loved basketball player came to blows with Michael Griffiths after he snubbed Amber for Joanna Chimonides.
The incident allegedly took place after Amber returned to Casa Amour alone to discover she had been replaced by Michael, who had chosen to recouple.
Jourdan told the podcast: “He meant it with the best of intentions, he genuinely meant it with the good of his heart, he was defending Amber.
"It just wasn't perceived in the best way by the rest of the boys, it didn't go down too well."
Jourdan, 24, continued: “In recoupling [Amber] was stood there alone and he was just like: 'That's it, you're a boss, you've got this’.
"It was when they came back to the villa after Casa Amor, it just didn't go down very well but I know he meant it in the best way.
"It could have turned into something bigger but thankfully it was a case of 'just leave it'."
Jourdan explained that this incident was the reason Ovie had grown close to fellow Island boys George Rains and Marvin Brooks, breaking down in tears when George was dumped earlier in the month.
Jourdan revealed: “The three of them kept themselves away from everyone, he meant those tears."
She added that the group resolved their differences and had moved on from the feud.
Ovie has established himself as a “true gentleman” on the show, and became such a fan favourite that there was a petition launched for him to become the first ever single winner of Love Island.
