Overturned car used as film prop sparks confusion as Glasgow cops called to scene

A overturned car spotted in a Glasgow car park has been causing some confusion today.

Members of the public have been left baffled after seeing the car, which had fully flipped onto its roof, alone in the Go Hotel Glasgow car park on Paisley Road West.

Despite the apparently dramatic accident, emergency crews were not seen and the car appeared abandoned.

However, all was revealed after Police Scotland confirmed the vehicle was being used as a prop while filming took place.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Around 12.45pm on Sunday 31 January 2021, officers received a report of a car overturned on Paisley Road West.

"Officers attended and it appears the car was being used as a prop for filming.  No further police action."
