Leeds United fans have implored the club to consider a move for Atalanta wing-back Robin Gosens after he starred for Germany in their 4-2 win over Portugal at Euro 2020.
Gosens was involved in two of Germany's first three goals with his cross being turned into his own net by Ruben Dias to level the scores in the first half before teeing up Chelsea forward Kai Havertz to make it 3-1 to Joachim Low's side after the break.
The 26-year-old then got on the scoresheet himself as he nodded Joshua Kimmich's centre into the roof of Rui Patricio's net as Germany stunned Portugal in their Group F showdown.
Gosens plays as a left-wing-back in a 3-4-2-1 system for both club and country and with Leeds keen to sign a new left-back this summer amid doubts over Ezgjan Alioski's future, supporters believe the German could fit the bill as a new signing.
His Atalanta contract expires at the end of this season and Leeds fans made their feelings clear after his masterclass against Portugal, with several urging Andrea Radrizzani and Victor Orta to make a deal happen.
