Covid infections in West Lothian have dropped, with 51 new infections being reported, taking the latest seven-day total to 505.
The latest figures, up to July 18, also show 97.6 per cent of people aged 40 and over have received their first vaccination (91,660) and 91 per cent (85,417) have had two jabs.
In the 18 and over age group category, 91.6 per cent (64,272) have received their first dose and 68.2 per cent (97,803) their second.
The seven-day test positivity rate is also down 10.6 per cent, although this is still higher than the Scottish average of 8.9 per cent.
Whitburn Central reported the most infections (25) while Deans has reported the virus as 'suppressed' with 0 to two cases.
At her briefing today Nicola Sturgeon said infections are "very much right now on a downward path." although 13 deaths were reported Scotland-wide.
She said all adults had been offered a first dose vaccination appointment and added the decision not to vaccinate the majority of children would be kept under review.
She continued: "Because of vaccination, we are undoubtedly in a better position than we were last year or even at the start of this year.
"But we can't abandon caution altogether - we will be foolish if we do that."
