Over 80 new homes to be built in South Lanarkshire town

A new housing development in Cambuslang is set to being 81 new homes to the area.

CCG Homes is set to create new housing development Western Terrace.

Located just off Western Road and within a short distance of the town centre, Western Terrace will comprise 81 homes in a mix of two and three-bedroom semi-detached and terraced house types.

Prices are expected to start from £165,000 with designer kitchens and bathrooms provided as standard as well as private, rear gardens and parking for up to two vehicles per plot.

Prospective buyers will be able to reserve upon the development’s formal sales launch which is expected to take place in the summer.

CCG Homes managing director, Calum Murray, told Lanarkshire Live : “Cambuslang has seen significant residential development over the last 20 years.

"It is a town that has a unilateral appeal to a wide range of buyers thanks to its wealth of local amenities and services.

“Western Terrace will be a welcome addition to the community with fresh, contemporary-designed homes.

"We have already received significant levels of interest and we are very much looking forward to our formal launch in the coming months.”

CCG Homes is registered on the Scottish Government’s small developer 'help to buy' scheme - something sales manager, Gillian Roberts, states will play an important factor in reaching out to first-time buyers.

Gillian added: “Western Terrace will be complete with everything our buyers have come to expect of CCG Homes.

"High levels of specification as standard, spacious layouts and excellent energy performance credentials.

"But we are thrilled that we can offer 'help to buy' as a means of reaching out to first-time buyers. An exciting proposition for young professionals and families alike, the scheme is a great mechanism to help people get on the property ladder and we hope it will be continued on in 2022/23.”
