Over 7,000 science seats at Gujarat University to go vacant

AHMEDABAD: More than 7,000 seats are likely to go vacant for Gujarat University affiliated science colleges as only 6,751 students have been included in the provisional merit list released by the admission committee.

About 16,000 students participated in the registration process. However, only 6,751 candidates have made it to the provisional merit list, said sources in GU. “There are 14,066 seats available for BSc courses in GU affiliated colleges of which more than 7,000 are expected to lie vacant this year,” said a source in the university.
