Another 2,802 Covid cases have been diagnosed in Scotland as the number of people in hospital with the illness tops 400.
Figures have been published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland this afternoon as part of the national COVID-19 daily briefing.
Nationally, 401 people are in hospital which is up 14 from yesterday. There are currently 38 people with the disease being treated in ICU.
The number of newly-reported positive coronavirus cases recorded by NHS Ayrshire & Arran has increased by 128 to 22,128.
Of the new cases, 55 were from East Ayrshire and 52 were attributed to North Ayrshire. There were 20 new cases in South Ayrshire.
A total of 306,449 positive tests have now been recorded from 2.323 million tests carried out since the start of the pandemic.

According to Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Dundee City has the highest infection rate in the country – at 874.6 as of Wednesday, July 7.
The second-highest is Midlothian which has a rate of 720.3 while East Lothian (579.9) has the third-highest rate.
Locally, East Ayrshire's infection rate stands at 366.4 with North Ayrshire at 297.6. South Ayrshire's is 253.1.
Currently, 18 of Scotland's 32 council regions have an infection rate below the national average of 414.4.

Four more deaths have been announced in the last 24 hours which means 7,744 people have passed away since March 2020.
However, data from the National Records of Scotland (NRS) shows 10,189 deaths had been registered up to Sunday, July 4 where the disease was mentioned on the death certificate.
Across the UK, the figure is 128,301 as of last night.
There are 16 patients being treated for the disease in Ayrshire hospitals, which is the same number as yesterday, and fewer than five in ICUs.
Nationally, a total of 3,900,864 people have received the first dose of a Covid vaccine and 2,825,886 have received their second dose.
